Spit and Grill BBQ Company is owned and managed by Darren Hanson. Darren moved to England from South Africa in 2008.
With more than 10 years experince working for BBQ companies, I decided it was time to use the skill and experience gained to start something new and unique.
Spit and Grill BBQ Company provides indoor and outdoor catering. Although the hog roast is traditionally a hog cooked on an open flame, with the unpredictable British Summer, Spit and Grill BBQ Company have adapted this by the use of a gas spit roast machine. So we can do spit roasts and hog roasts anytime and anywhere!
And for when the weather really is great, there's nothing better than the sound and smell of a sizzling BBQ...

Food Hygiene Rating Scheme
The Food Hygiene Rating is decided using 3 criteria that are scored by an Environmental Health Officer. Spit and Grill take pride in having received the highest rating as follows:
Compliance with food hygiene and safety procedures 5
Compliance with structural requirements 5
Confidence in management and procedures 5
OVERALL FOOD HYGIENE RATING 5
Staff members are trained in Food Hygiene Standards and are trained to be aware of Health and Safety risks at every function. Risk assessments are carried out on a regular basis and all equipment is inspected before and after every function.
